Nathan Musser and Family

Nathan Musser came to Wheeling Country Day School in 1984 as a preschooler, around the same he started violin lessons at the age of three. He attended WCDS through 5th grade during which time he continued to develop his love of music. “Wheeling Country Day School’s focus on public speaking and performing helped Nathan develop his confidence as a musician,” explained his mother Netch, who is a 1st grade aide at WCDS.

He played in Wheeling Park High School’s orchestra and was the principal upright bass player for the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony. After attending the Berkeley School of Music in Boston, he worked as a music technician on many major productions including the Grammy Awards and television programs including “The Jimmy Kimmel Show”. He recently moved from Los Angles to Nashville and has been touring with award-winning, country music duo, “Sugarland” over the last year as a music tech and playing the fiddle. On December 11, 2011, he performed with Sugarland in Oslo, Norway, for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
