Regular school attendance is essential for consistent academic progress and achievement. If your child is to be absent from school or late on any given day, please inform the school office at 304-232-2430 by 8:00 a.m. Students to be dismissed during the day for a medical or dental appointment need to bring a note to school. Children must be picked up in the school office for early dismissals. Children must also be accompanied to the office when they return from any appointments during the school day.
The Head of School must be given at least a one- week advanced notice in writing of any planned absence, so she can communicate with teachers to make a reasonable effort to provide the child with comparable assignments. The student is responsible for all work missed.
