Parent Programs

Elizabeth Stifel Kline Parent Seminars

The Elizabeth Stifle Kline Parent Seminars are a series of conversations hosted by Liz to help educate the parent body at Wheeling Country Day School. These groups will meet periodically throughout the school year as a way to enhance communication among our entire family here at WCDS. Topics will range from embracing failure to leadership to grandparent appreciation and even a general update on school matters. We hope you find time to attend as many of these opportunities as you can.

Specific meetings times will vary depending on topic, but most will last 45-60 minutes with an opportunity to visit classrooms around school immediately following.

See the flyer below for more information on topics and times this year.

Classroom Visits

Come be a ‘Fly on the Wall’ in your child’s classroom! We love when parents get a chance to see the school in action, and while assemblies and exhibitions certainly give us a chance to show off our stuff, seeing day-to-day operations can be just as powerful. Following each Elizabeth Stifle Kline Parent Seminar we invite parents to live a bit of the classroom experience of their children.

Saturday Family Series

WCDS will open the library one Saturday each month for family fun! Join us from 10:00-11:30 AM for activities, story time, and more! See the flyer below for more information.
