We have been talking a lot this year about how at Wheeling Country Day School we are trying to leave behind the doldrums of traditional, black-and-white school and moving towards learning in color, so we thought it was time to have our first ever color run-Run In Color!

On the afternoon of November 10th we will paint the campus and ourselves with a rainbow of colors. Run In Color is for all JK-8th grade students and their families. Please use this Google Form link to register your student(s) and yourself if you are interested in joining. Nov. 10th is also Bring A Friend Day for 1st-8th grades. You will be receiving more information on that in an email from Miss Stephanie, but if you know that your student is bringing a friend that day please make sure to register them as well. Students and guests should wear white shirts to school that day and colorful accessories are encouraged.

We are asking participants to get sponsors to help them Run In Color. Every space filled in on the sponsor form gets them a colored bracelet. If all 6 spaces are filled they get the whole rainbow of colored bracelets to wear during the run. All proceeds benefit the WCDS PFA and will help cover costs for field trips and special events at school. A sponsor form is coming home with students today. Please fill it out, sign the liability waiver, and return it to school with all money collected on November 9th.
