Enrollment

See what makes WCDS the right fit for your child.

Wheeling Country Day School is an independent private school in Wheeling, West Virginia – proudly serving toddlers through Middle School and a lifetime beyond. Established in 1929, WCDS has a long history of developing strong, independent thinkers.

The early childhood program at Wheeling Country Day School focuses on the child within the learner. It is an engaging centers-based curriculum that matches the way children develop and learn, meeting their personal learning needs in a hands-on and nurturing environment.

Our Elementary program is a unique and premier group of classes that include ages 6-12. During these years, we continue their fundamental education and introduce our students to a variety of experiences that prepares them to thrive as they approach middle school and high school.

Traditional middle school was imagined to create a better force of workers in a growing industrial society. We have held closely to these methods even though our society has evolved. Your child deserves more. Unlock the power in them to learn…and to enjoy learning.
