Dear WCDS Families,
We hope this email finds you refreshed and excited about the upcoming school year! As the Co-Presidents of the Parent Faculty Association (PFA), it is our pleasure to extend a warm welcome back to our incredible Wheeling Country Day School community. We are Brittany Taylor and Gabby Tucker, and we are so thrilled to be working together as co-presidents of the PFA this year. We have both been a part of the WCDS family for a few years and both feel grateful that our children get to attend such a wonderful school. There will be several opportunities to volunteer this school year, and we hope to meet many of you along the way.
The start of a new year brings with it a sense of anticipation and endless possibilities. Whether your child is returning for another year or joining us for the first time, we are confident that our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to ensuring an enriching, supportive, and joyful experience for every student.
As parents and guardians, you are an integral part of our vibrant community, and we value your involvement and contributions. The PFA is here to foster connections, enhance communication, and promote a sense of togetherness among our families. As a WCDS parent, you are already part of the PFA. Throughout the year, we will be organizing and hosting a range of events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities that allow us to come together, support our school, and build lasting friendships. You should have received the WCDS Volunteer Form in an email from the school. Please take the time to fill that out, so we can contact you as events start getting planned.
In the spirit of collaboration and community, we encourage you to share your ideas, talents, and interests with us. If you have a suggestion for an event, a skill you’d like to contribute, or simply a question or concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we can create an exceptional experience for our children.
