I was working for a summer camp and was handed my first check. I couldn’t believe that I was having so much fun that the money didn’t matter. I went back to school in the fall and switched my major.
Given that my “students” now are parents and teachers, I hope mostly to instill gratitude and balance. Slow down your world and actually listen to a child. Open up your mind and assume a positive intent in those you meet and with those you disagree. There is a lot in every day to be grateful for.
